In a tragic incident, Bihar Police have apprehended four individuals in connection with the brutal gangrape and murder of a 60-year-old woman in Nawada. The perpetrators, identified as Sunil Yadav, Vipin Yadav, Pintu Yadav, and Niranjan Yadav, allegedly attacked the woman on December 25. The victim, who had come to Nawada with her husband to visit relatives, went missing while her husband was at a nearby shop.

The police discovered her mutilated body in the Kharidi Bigha area on December 26 after scanning CCTV footage, leading to the identification of Sunil Yadav as one of the accused. The investigation revealed that Sunil Yadav lured the victim on an e-rickshaw, accompanied by his friends, to an isolated location where they gang-raped her before committing the heinous act of slitting her throat and chopping her breasts. One of the accused, Karu Yadav, is still at large.
